Had a pretty up and down day today. I run my own business with a good friend of mine. A client called me today to ask for details on a job we were quoting and proceeded to swear at me down the phone when he didn't get the answers he wanted. I had to remind myself that I am no longer in the corporate world answering to someone else and feel comfortable with my decision to not work with this person...
Started a mahogany table for a good friend of ours who commissioned us to make him something to help him feel better. He has cancer, and not too long to go, so feeling good about making something for him to enjoy.
Got home to an order from our e-bay shop for a table - excellent. Then off to the cinema to see Borat.
Oh my god - what a movie. Has to be the most politically incorrect thing I have ever seen. Very funny - a must for anyone who isn't easily offended.
Do I meet people on Blogs? Time will tell.
My beautiful children are safe and sound asleep and I can't seem to feel tired for some reason. Think I need a spell in the gym.
Just got a text from Gem. She off to sleep, so promised her she could be in my first blogg.
